Description

Regina Youth For Christ is a mission organization dedicated to helping children and their communities, worldwide, reach their full potential by tackling causes of isolation and hopelessness. Motivated by our faith, we serve the youth in Saskatchewan - regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or gender - as a demonstration of God's unconditional love for all people.

We are looking for a Housing Services Manager. The right candidate will be experienced and/or educated in working with youth or young adults in a supportive environment. As a missions organization, Regina Youth For Christ requires all staff to be in agreement with their Statement of Faith and to continually fund-raise to support the Ministry vision.


Responsibilities:
-Oversight of 4 Group Housing Programs for youth
-Overseeing design/implementation of services
-Supervision of staff and leaders
-Management of referrals and transition planning
-Direct communication with referring agency
-Utilizing available community-based resources
-Oversight of staff training and development
-Maintaining a sustainable program

Skills/experience:
-Experience in Group Home environment, preferably youth
-Experience in managing staff and leaders
-Experience in ministry/missions leadership roles (paid or volunteer)
-Ability to maintain unity within a large team
-Competent with basic administrative skills
-Spiritually vibrant and able to lead the team towards Christ in all areas
-Be able to carry the vision of the organization within the program
-Able to manage a diverse responsibility pallet

*Requirements
-Must hold a valid drivers license and must be able to carry 10 + passengers.
-Lift up to 50 pounds
-Walk up 2 flights of stairs several times per day
-Ability to stand, sit, crouch or kneel
-Ability to perform CPR and basic first aid
-Ability to participate in low impact activities
