Description

Human Resources Assistant  permanent, 7.5 hours per day, commencement date to be determined.  The successful applicant will play in integral part of the staffing personnel process, and be the point of contact for the application process.  Duties will include entering and maintaining information using a database program and other duties as assigned.  Applicants should have a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office.

The successful candidate must possess well developed interpersonal skills, have the ability to take initiative and work independently with a positive and supportive attitude in a team environment.  Above average written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and an aptitude for technology are required.

Preference will be given to those individuals who hold a certificate from a recognized Business, Office Education Program or equivalent training and experience.  Experience in the education sector or in human resources is preferred.
