We are seeking a highly motivated individual for a Concrete Foreman position that is located in remote mine sites in Northern Saskatchewan. As a key participant in the relationship with the contractor, other contractors, company and client, the Foreman generally has multiple years experience. The following some specific areas of responsibility: Safety: Responsible & accountable for a crew of up to 8 people; Know, understand, communicate & ensure compliance with the OH&S Act and Regulations;Ensure completion of initial Field Level Risk Assessments;Fully understand SLGCs safety systems and implement.Leadership and Supervision: Provides direction, leadership, support & holds their crew responsible & accountable for meeting their responsibilities, goals & commitments;Assess competency & capability of their tradespersons; evaluate crew capability, training & coaching to ensure crew meets required levels of quality;Ensure crew complies with policies & procedures; Apply SLGCs corrective action policy when applied; attend on-site contractor meetings with client representatives; Be a leader.
Qualifications required or related too: JM certificate in a construction trade, SCSA Leadership for Excellence; SCSA WHIMS Train-the-Trainer; Level A 1st Aid.
