The athletic therapy staff of the Roughriders wants your help in providing game day support to both the Roughriders and each visiting team. Under the supervision of the Roughriders Certified Athletic Therapists, the sideline staff will:
- Gain experience by observing professional football athletes and staff in a professional sports setting.
- Be responsible for ensuring that both the home team and visiting team benches are setup appropriately prior to the game as per Canadian Football League policy.
- Throughout the game, ensuring that all water bottles and coolers remain filled on each teams bench as well as ensuring clean and dry towels are available to all players.
- Ensure that both benches are cleaned following the game and all water bottles and coolers are cleaned and stored appropriately.
If you are selected for one the positions, you will have to submit your availability and a schedule will be developed. The schedule will attempt to provide each person with the same amount of games throughout the course of the season. Shifts will coincide with the dates of all Roughrider home games. Each year, the football club plays up to eleven (11) home games including one (1) pre-season, nine (9) regular season, and one (1) possible playoff game. You will be required to be in attendance two (2) hours prior to kickoff and your shift will finish shortly after the game ends.
This is a volunteer position and no financial remuneration will be given. You will be provided with appropriate sideline apparel as required by the position.
