Our client is currently seeking to fill several Facility & Storage Engineering positions, one assessing the historical storage wellfile records, review and catalog the surface and downhole information and provide and engineering assessment of the data. The second is a support position for capital projects over the next several years.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering from a Canadian Engineering program, with more than 10 years job experience, preferably within the oil and gas industry, be eligible for registration with APEGS, hold a valid class 5 drivers license, and if English is not the candidates first language a score of 9 or higher on the CELPIP general test is mandatory.
It is preferred that the candidates have a background in Storage of Hydrocarbons in underground formation, experience in reading and interpreting downhole cased log information, and experience making recommendations for downhole repair or abandonment. Experience dealing with the Regulators and preparing for and dealing with the Ministry of Economy and National Energy Board is also an asset.
