Huskie Athletics is currently seeking a highly motivated, energetic and talented individual to become a vital part of the game presentation and events department. The ideal candidate would have experience performing as a mascot, possess excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, athletically and physically fit, and have a creative/humorous personality.
-Must be available to work flexible hours including all home games, nights, weekends and holidays. Must be able to work in a costume.
- Choreography and/or skit writing experience preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting with various age groups is required
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop the characters/personalities of the Huskie Athletics mascot Howler
- Perform at all home games at the PAC, PotashCorp Park and Rutherford Rink
- Perform and/or provide support to all scheduled community and team appearances. This includes but is not limited to sponsors, charities and, media events, sponsor and private functions.
- Work directly with the Event Coordinator to provide a fun, exciting atmosphere for all fans in attendance Create and perform exciting fan experiences (game day skits and video, school programs and special
events).
- Responsible for mascot costumes and props proper care
- Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external employees/clients Communicate with/support departments as assigned by management
