Description

Under the direction of the Head of Diagnostics, this person will perform laboratory/radiology and ECG duties for detection, prevention and management of physiological and pathological conditions.  This position will work closely with all departments of the All Nations' Healing Hospital and the Health Services of the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council to ensure/maintain a high quality of patient care.

This casual position is deemed as a relief position.  This means the successful applicant will be replacing current full-time or part-time staff during leaves of absences.  The hours of possible relief work may be 0800 - 0400 or 0730 - 0330 Monday to Saturday and may be scheduled for Standby on weekends and/or weekdays).

Qualifications:
Graduate of approved Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technician program
Licensed and registered by Saskatchewan Association of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technicians (SACLXT)
Completion of Immunology (IMMU183), Cardiar makers(CHEM 1808) and Therapeutic Drugs and Drugs of Abuse(CHEM1807) courses are required or must be willing to complete
Rural hospital CLXT skills is an asset
