POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the maintenance engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance engineering work requirements are efficiently planned and executed to deliver maximum equipment and facility availability. In addition, you will be responsible for the continued development of our formal structural integrity programs for stationary assets (tanks, pipelines, building structures, etc.), ensuring regulatory compliance with TSASK for boilers and pressure vessels, conducting field inspections of stationary assets to applicable codes, interpreting technical inspection reports, and the development of repair plans to correct deficiencies.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree in mechanical or structural engineering
Four to eight years of progressive experience in process and/or mining operations
Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
Strong understanding of predictive and preventative maintenance
Ability to effectively communicate and build strong relationships
Assets:
Experience in administering an integrity program at a large industrial setting, such as mining, milling, chemical processing, or refinery
Experience in industrial construction and repair techniques, including fabrication, welding, industrial coatings
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Experience using SAP
CMRP designation, API 510, 570, 571, 580, 653 certifications
