Your tasks would revolve around the receiving and shipping of grain; operating the equipment involved in the cleaning and/or drying of incoming product.
In this busy grain terminal, a minimum of 6 months of previous experience in a grain elevator/terminal is required; consideration may be given to those with familiarity with grain and agriculture. To be considered, you have:
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of grain grading and cleaner operations is a definite asset
- Ability to operate a programmable logic computer (PLC)
- Computer literacy and experience with data entry and have accurate results
- Ability to work well independently or as part of a cohesive team
- Common-sense mechanical ability
- The physical ability to perform the functions of the job (include working outdoors and climbing railcars)
- Good eyesight and colour perception
- No fear of heights
A competitive hourly wage and benefits package is offered. A one-year contract option is available, starting in October 2016.
