Olympic is currently seeking the following
experienced drivers in multi drop delivery throughout the province and or gravel hauling.
Type of trucking and equipment:
Semi, Dump Trailer, Van trailer.
Experience in Transport of Dangerous Goods,
LCV experience.
Photocopy of current driver's license/Class 1A required.
Driver abstract,
Criminal Record Check,
Must pass the drive test.
Essential skills:
documentation knowledge (Driver logbook, Bill of Landing, trip reports and accident or incident reports).
job task planning and organizing,
critical thinking,
decision making,
problem solving,
working well with others,
oral communication,
document use,
reading text.
Specific skills:
clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks,
conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment,
perform minor repairs on equipment.
Must have steel-toed safety boots.
