The Town of Rosetown is seeking an experienced business professional to work as our Community and Business Development Manager.

Rosetown is a community of 2,500 located at the junction of Highways No. 4 and 7.  Were centrally located in west-central Saskatchewan, within 150 km of North Battleford, Saskatoon and Swift Current.  With opportunities for growth in business and housing and major infrastructure projects planned for the future, Rosetown is positioned to become a main service centre for the area.

We have excellent health, educational, business and recreational amenities.  Our community organizations are strong, contributing hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars to initiatives each year.

The incumbent will have several years directly related experience, ideally in a municipal or public sector environment.  Post-secondary education in public administration, business administration, or marketing, and certification in economic development would be an asset.  Knowledge of municipal and community planning legislation, along with prior business experience, would complement the position.  

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.  A comprehensive benefit plan and pension plan is available.
