Art Program Coordinator (part time)

The Saskatoon Community Youth Arts Programming (SCYAP) Inc. is a not-for-profit organization established in order to address the social, educational, and economic needs of at-risk youth.
We are seeking a self-driven outgoing, socially minded individual with strong interpersonal skills. The individual must possess the ability to work with young people from varied backgrounds. The ability to develop a sense of individual trust and respect with young people is imperative. The successful candidate will lead the SCYAP art drop-in program.
The individual will have the skill set to help enhance skill development, personal growth and positive lifestyles. They could also be called upon to assist in bringing awareness to aboriginal art & culture through a wide range of community-based programs.
The individual must possess patience and tolerance and have a full understanding of accountability.
Duties will include supervision, staff scheduling and mentoring and training staff.
