Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. requires a Family Preservation Worker for the Prevention Services Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for development and implementation of prevention and intervention programs for Fishing Lake First Nations members. This position reports directly to the Family Preservation Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-previous experience and training in delivery of community based service programming.
- Ability to investigate, assess and identify risks and develop an action plan
- Knowledge of First Nation culture and language of Touchwood Child and Family Services Inc. member First Nations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to develop and establish a trusting and strong working relationship with staff, clientele, First Nation communities, interest groups and other agencies.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required.
- Must possess a valid Saskatchewan Drivers Licence and submit to a criminal record check and ACI Check.
