Wilgenbusch Charolais Inc. located near Halbrite, SK is looking for a permanent full time beef cattle farm worker for purebred livestock operation that requires attention to detail, and varying hours for different seasons.
Wage $15.00-$17.00 per hour
Duties will include:
feeding of livestock daily and animal husbandry
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Recognize livestock health problems
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns,
clean barns, barnyards, storage buildings
Fencing, manure handling, Silaging
Perform general farm duties
Requirements:
Looking for a determined individual with ambition and can accept responsibility
Can work alone or as part of a team and is reliable and hard working
Must have experience in calving livestock, and running and maintaining farm equipment
1 - 2 years experience working on a cattle farm
Working on the family cattle farm considered an asset
Completed high school
Physical fitness
Speak, Read and Write English
Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)
