The Opportunity

WCU has an exciting and challenging career opportunity within our Lending Department for a highly motivated financial service professional.  The Consumer Lending Specialist, working out of our main branch in Weyburn, SK, will be reporting directly to the Consumer Lending Manager. The successful candidate will provide personal lending services to current members and potential members.  They must be able to recognize member needs and deliver high quality service while ensuring all activities are in compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Grade 12 with preference given to individuals with post-secondary education or previous work-related experience in the credit union and financial industry.
Minimum of 1  3 years experience in all aspects of consumer and residential mortgage lending.
Understanding of CMHC lending.
Solid working knowledge and thorough understanding of the legal and legislative requirements associated with lending.
