Description

Assisting patients when purchasing corrective eye wear
    Educating patients about advances in corrective eye wear solutions including new lens technology
    Measuring and fitting patients with their new eye wear solution
    Providing exceptional customer service, actively seeking to help walk in customers in the dispensary and when receiving patients direct into the dispensary from the Doctors
    Dispensing at our La Ronge clinic on a staff rotation basis to assist patients when purchasing corrective eye wear again ensuring the patient receives the best in quality and care
    Managing inventory and dispensing eye wear at external clinics within the North of Saskatchewan with the expectation that you will be away from home for up to a week (expectation to attend 1 of possible 4 external clinics)
    Ensuring inventory is kept up to date and accurate with stock levels being kept within specific guidelines from home office
    Meeting with representatives from other optical companies to discuss, negotiate and order required stock items ensuring the frame designs are always kept fresh and up to date with latest designs and customer needs.

Skills and Attributes:

    Excellent interpersonal skills and a great communicator
    Background in Retail sales would be advantageous
    Willingness to learn and be trained in the latest fashions available in eye wear and up to the minute lens technology.
    Be eager to educate and inform customers of what solutions are available for them and ensure they get the quality product that best fits their needs.
    Involves occasional work away from home in La Ronge and occasional trips to Northern Saskatchewan for remote external clinics
    Must be punctual and reliable and have proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
    Essentially a team player with a flexible approach to working hours

 - Assist clients in selecting eyeglasses
 - Arrange for grinding or polishing of lenses or grind or polish lenses
