If this sounds like the company for you, now is your opportunity. FYidoctors 2nd Avenue, Prince Albert, is currently seeking a full time FRONT DESK/RECEPTIONIST for our growing practice.
As a Front Desk/Receptionist, you will be the initial point of contact for our patients. Greeting and assisting patients face to face upon entering the practice or over the phone. Our aim is always to acknowledge patients within 5 seconds of entering the practice, treating our patients courteously and with respect and taking pride in offering our patients an exceptional customer experience in line with our Patient Pathway.
Responsibilities:
Answer telephone calls in 2 rings or less
Booking patient appointments with the Doctors for Full/Partial eye examinations and contact lens checks/fitting. Receiving and booking in patients when they arrive for their eye exam and closing out a patient after their eye exam is complete.
Greeting and helping patients who walk in with repairs to their eye wear. Cross caring for other departments
Accepting payments from patients for eye exams and eye wear. Responsible for balancing and closing the till at the end of the day and ensuring that all billing has been issued and completed correctly for the previous.
Addressing any faxed information and passing it to the relevant Doctor or Departments keeping the back counter clear at all times
Skills and Attributes:

Must be punctual and reliable and have proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Essentially a team player who can work in a fast paced environment
Basic computer skills
Previous reception/front desk work experience is preferable but not essential.
