THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Lead Hand directs and supports Technicians to ensure efficient, quality work on equipment while building long-term customer relationships and producing profits for the company. Will also perform Technicians work including diagnostics, repair, paperwork, and ensures shop cleanliness & safety.

QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years as a Heavy-duty truck and trailer Technician
Journeyman designation is preferred
Exceptional leadership skills
Valid Class 1 with Air Drivers License an asset (for road testing)
Safety Inspections Certificate an asset
A team player with a strong commitment to the customer
Proven leadership skills including motivating, coaching, and training
Demonstrated quality control skills and attention to detail
Organized, sets priorities and meets deadlines
Strong problem solving and decision making skills
Excellent fact finding and analytical skills
Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn in house programs
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
Familiar with tools of the trade and personally equipped with an adequate supply of hand tools
HOURS:
7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7 days on, 7 days off rotation.
