Public Affairs Officers provide sound communications advice at the tactical, operational and strategic levels, and act as key advisors to military commanders during domestic and international operations. Public Affairs Officers are advisors on all aspects of external and internal communications. Pay and Benefits
Starting salary is $ 99.12 per day with increases for time in and promotions
Benefits include:

University reimbursement program (2000$/yr up to a maximum amount of 8000$, no obligations of service after)
Quarters & meals (during training or when employed short terms outside your local area)

Qualifications
A successful candidate must:
be a Canadian Citizen
be 17 years of age (with parental or guardian consent if under 18)
meet Canadian Armed Forces medical standards
successfully complete selection process, interview and examinations
pass physical fitness tests
have a university degree or be enrolled full time in a university working towards one*
