NAVAL COMMUNICATOR - Make a difference with the Canadian Armed Forces

As a Naval Communicator in the Canadian Armed Forces, you will establish and manage all external voice, radio-teletype and data circuits, and provide real-time tactical information in support of operations.
Their primary duties include:
Radio teletype
Computer networking
Satellite, tactical voice and visual communications
Classified and unclassified computer networks
Computer-based message processing network
Radio communication control systems
Cryptographic and satellite equipment in support of high speed data and imagery exchanges
Pay and Benefits
Starting salary is $ 90.30 per day with increases for time in and promotions
Benefits include:
Travel expenses covered
University reimbursement program (2000$/yr up to a maximum amount of 8000$, no obligations of service after)
Quarters & meals (during training or when employed short terms outside your local area)
Paid vacation (two days per month)

Qualifications
A successful candidate must:
be a Canadian Citizen
be 17 years of age (with parental or guardian consent if under 18)
meet Canadian Armed Forces medical standards
successfully complete selection process, interview and examinations
pass physical fitness tests
Have a minimum of grade 10 math and English complete
