Job Description: The Diagnostic Imaging Information System Technologist is responsible for radiology information system and picture archive communications system development and support including the integration of new technologies and service goals with Radiology processes.
Required Qualifications

Medical Radiation Technology (MRT) diploma
Experience
Previous:  Forty-eight (48) months previous discipline-related experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist to consolidate knowledge and skills required to provide radiology services including twenty-four (24) months user experience working with the Radiology Information System and Picture Archive Communication System.  
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to instruct, collaborate and evaluate performance.
Advanced verbal communication skills
Advanced writing skills
Valid drivers license, where required by the job
Analytical skills
Advanced knowledge ofdiagnostic imaging operation and of the specific disciplines integrated processes, testing procedures and function of the RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
Advanced knowledge of computer systems integration in a clinical environment and of interfacing RIS/PACS to external systems and RIS/PACS peripherals.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
