Description

Prairie East Veterinary Clinic is seeking a full or part time career minded individual with a positive attitude to fill the role of receptionist/office assistant.  In this role you will act as the first point of contact, ensuring a positive first impression for clients, both in person and over the phone.  This position requires an individual with very strong customer service skills and excellent phone mannerisms.  
   In addition to strong interpersonal skills the successful candidate must be well organized, possess the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and maintain customer confidentiality.  A positive, professional attitude is an absolute necessity.  This position requires an individual who is courteous and helpful, enjoys working with people and enjoys a lot of variety in their workday.
   This position provides general office support to the business.  Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, greeting customers, filing, booking patient appointments, physically organizing and maintaining office appearance, receiving and processing payments from customers, customer billing, preparing patients, providing basic info to clients, preparing orders for customers and performing general reception and administrative duties.
