Living Sky Beef is a progressive beef cattle operation which includes a commercial cow/calf herd, replacement heifers, small backgrounding feedlot and haying operation. We are looking for a full time, permanent employee to join our team by September 1, 2016 who will work with us to manage our cow/calf herd and maintain our 7000 acres of grazing and pasture land. Summer duties will include grazing management, fencing, water development, calving, identifying and treating cattle with health problems, and haying. During the winter duties include feeding calves in the feedlot, monitoring animal health and treating sick animals, managing winter grazing, and hauling bales. Previous experience with beef cattle and operating farm equipment is required. The successful candidate must also have the ability to work well with others or on their own. Long hours and physically demanding outdoor work are parts of this job. Our operation is located near Minton, SK and require that the successful candidate live in, or re-locate to the area. Accommodations are available.
