An employee-owned Canadian company, Associated Engineering provides a broad base of consulting engineering services in the infrastructure, water, transportation, environmental, building, energy, and asset management sectors.
We are currently searching for an intermediate Municipal Engineer to join our Prince Albert office, which currently consists of a dynamic group of 10 Engineers and Technologists.
The successful candidate will participate in municipal infrastructure projects including drainage, culverts, storm water lagoons, water mains, sewers, and pump stations. You will have hands-on involvement in preparing studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents and will also participate in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, and client liaison for infrastructure projects. You may also be involved in business development and preparation of proposals.
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in civil engineering from an accredited university;
- Eligible for professional licensing with APEGS;
- Minimum 7 years experience in municipal engineering;
- Experience in design, specifications, scheduling, cost estimating, tendering, construction, and commissioning of infrastructure projects;
- Proven technical skills;
- Experience in a Consulting Environment;
- Strong communication and organization skills;
- Project management skills are an asset;
- Experience working with Municipalities and First Nations is an asset; and
- Committed team player.
