POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the metallurgists, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of an ICP-MS radium analyser, as well as other field and laboratory testing and equipment. Experience in analytical technique is a must. You will conduct test work and report findings in an accurate and consistent manner.

Other duties will include editing and distributing daily process production reports, some collection and preparation of samples as well as assisting metallurgists in their technical support of process operation in MWTP and process areas.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Technical diploma in metallurgy, chemistry or process
    Two to seven years of relevant work experience
    Basic laboratory skills
    Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
    Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
