Job Description: The Occupational Health Manager is accountable for the development, implementation & evaluation of comprehensive case management &
Occupational Health strategies that promote the health, wellness, engagement, presence & productivity of Regional staff. This includes facilitating safe, timely & efficient returns to work.
The incumbent will be required to oversee & enhance case management policies & procedures (Disability, WCB, SGI) as well as formulating occupational health strategies based on organizational trends or individual needs. This will involve nursing assessment including nursing care, counselling, educational activities, environmental health, rehabilitation, in addition to human relations, administrative & IT skills.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)
Experience
-3 years demonstrated experience in the implementation, management and evaluation of wellness strategies and disability case management processes/methodologies.
Qualifications:
-Degree/Certificate in Human Resources, Disability Management or Occupational Health and Safety may be considered.
Through superior communication, organization & analytical skills, the Manager contributes to the physical & mental well-being & productivity of all staff members & to the goals of the Five Hills Health Region.
