The company has a career opportunity for qualified applicants at PotashCorp  Rocanville, located in Southeast Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the Chief Maintenance Engineer, the Mill Electrical Engineer is responsible the repair/ maintenance/programming of PLC/HMI equipment, for fibre-optics/data highway/network communication support, and for the design and coordination of power distribution equipment for the refinery and surface operations.  The Mill Electrical Engineer will continue with the automation and control needs of the refinery equipment.  The Mill Electrical Engineer will work very closely with the Mill Electrical/Instrumentation G.F., Mill Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisors, Operations personnel, and Maintenance Planning to ensure all electrical equipment is properly maintained to ensure safe working conditions for all personnel.

Graduate of Electrical Engineering undergraduate (or equivalent) from an accredited university or college with experience in power systems, control, protective relaying and has experience with budgeting for capital and major maintenance projects.  Should have experience with automation as well as high voltage equipment.  Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or in a team structure are essential.
