Description

Controls Engineer for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems:

Reliable Heating & Cooling Ltd is looking for a control systems engineer with experience in BMS or SCADA systems for commercial building automation.  The company uses Alerton & Schneider Andover Continuum building controls. The ideal candidate will have experience with mechanical building systems as well as commercial construction.  

You will be responsible for the commissioning, diagnosis, & repair of environmental-control systems, utilizing knowledge of electronics, direct digital control, airflow, hydronic refrigeration theory, & control techniques
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for end to end testing, downloading programming, starting up, commissioning, & servicing on assigned projects
Interpreting control drawings, plans, and specifications, to mount, assemble, test, & program the system
Analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs direct digital control systems at customer locations
Performs preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacement, & modifications as needed or requested by customers
Prepares for on-site installation & repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials & coordinating on-site work, as necessary
Provide technical support/training & follow-up at customer site
Records parts, material, labor, returning unused resources
Keep current on company products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, & repair of direct digital control systems
Flexibility to work overtime & out of travel as required
Qualifications:
All candidates will have direct experience in the installation, commissioning of complex controls and automation systems
All candidates have hands on experience working on large commercial, institutional or residential systems. You have demonstrated experience in programming in either Bacnet or Niagara
