Are you our next Team Member?
We are currently seeking an Automation Engineer I at our Esterhazy, SK K1 location. The successful candidate will implement all aspects from the design and construction phases through commissioning and final turnover of automation projects for Maintenance and Operations as well as collaborate with Capital projects as assigned. Long term objectives include preparing conceptual plans, schedules and budget for projects. Incident investigation, mentoring, coaching and troubleshooting are part of the expected responsibilities as well.

What is required for this role?
* Bachelor of Engineering degree, majoring in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation or Computer OR equivalent education and experience (as determined by EESE Manager).
* 3 or more years experience in a potash mining and milling environment OR equivalent (as determined by the EESE Manager).
* Eligible as a P.Eng or Limited Licensee with APEGS. Proof of enrolment is preferred.
* Preference for: AutoCAD knowledge; underground (conventional) mine experience; experience with automation and instrumentation systems; experience with motor control systems; experience with life safety and fire systems; experience with Project Management Fundamentals; incident Investigation experience.
