Description

Horizon is looking for a Senior Business Analyst resource.

Senior Business Analyst duties will include, but not be limited to:
Facilitate the elicitation, analysis, validation of requirements and document into business requirement documents or functional and/or non-functional specification documents.
Analyze packaged software against current state and provide gap analysis
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple Stakeholders and other sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and effectively articulate low-level or detailed information to a more general understanding.
Distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
Create high level and detailed business process workflows, context diagrams, functional design documents, use cases, wireframe mockups, decision tables as needed to describe and/or communicate business, functional and non-functional requirements.
Assess corporate Requirements Definition and Management Process against industry standard and identify opportunities.
Create Data Conversion & Cleansing Strategies
Create a detailed Business Analysis Plan for each project assignment
Ensure the correct interpretation of requirements with the development team via design inspections and feeds relevant information for test scenarios, test cases, and data.
Research, develop, document and present alternatives for solutioning.
Performs as the requirement team leader to lead activities including co-ordination, assignment of tasks, and mentor junior resources.


Qualifications:
University degree in Administration or Commerce or Engineering or Computer Science or other post secondary education.
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Certification is preferred.
Must have minimum of 3 years of telecom experience (Wireline, Wireless, Converged).
