Job Description: Under the direction of the Manager, Inter-professional Practice, the staff Occupational Therapist provides assessment and treatment to those patients referred to the assigned service areas. The staff Occupational Therapist will direct, guide and evaluate occupational therapy students.
Required Qualifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Society of Occupational Therapists
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to develop, evaluate and modify programming provided to clients
Ability to travel both within the region and provincially
Advanced assessment skills
Advanced leadership skills
Other Information

Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement. First preference will be given to employees of the Saskatoon Health Region and its affiliated agencies

Geographic Location: Located approximately 100 kms outside of Saskatoon
Expected Start Date: July 15, 2016
FTE: 0.60

Hours of Work: Shift Information: Days
In a 3 week rotation: 9 shifts of 7.50 hours
