Job Description: As a valued member of the Victoria Union Hospital Nursing Department, the general duty staff nurse has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.  Working within a multidisciplinary environment, the Registered Nurse functions as a competent clinical practitioner assisting patients with health care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and a rapidly changing status.  As a professional, the general duty staff nurse demonstrates a caring approach and a commitment to the delivery of [emergency and ambulatory care] [nursing care] consistent with assessed needs and the patients desires and preferences.  An understanding of the nursing process and the VUH Nursing Departments philosophy, objectives and standards will provide a basis for the delivery of client care.  to [medical patients] and [intensive care patients] [children and their families].
Required Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Registered or eligible for registration with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association (SRNA)

128 hours in a 4 week rotation.  Shifts (days, evenings, nights) including actual hours, date of commencement and temporary end dates are for informational purpose only and may be subject to change.
