Applications are invited for a permanent part-time (50%) Educational Assistant I position at LiptonSchool commencing on August 30, 2016.

Lipton is located at the junction of Highways 22 and 35, 16 kms north the QuAppelle Valley and 87 kms north east of Regina. Nicknamed the Village on the Valley, Lipton offers many recreational opportunities due to its close proximity to the QuAppelle Valley. A small, quiet community, Lipton features skating and curling rinks, a recreation centre, and library.
The Educational Assistant is responsible for ensuring safety, providing personal care and learning assistance for intensive needs students under the direction of the classroom teacher and student services teacher.  Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with cognitive behavioural issues, as well as personal care responsibilities.  Starting wage is currently $18.71 per hour.
