Adecco is currently recruiting for one of their top clients a Project Manager to work in the Engineering and GIS Department for one of their top clients.
Job Duties and Responsibilities will typically include but not be limited to:
-Preparing and managing detailed schedules using MS Project Server
-Updating the schedule on a bi-weekly basis with team member updates
-Preparing bi-weekly updates on all projects
-Preparing project management plans
-Preparing scope documents for all projects
-Managing scope and change requests
-Preparing meeting agendas, running team meetings and issuing meeting minutes
-Working with functional managers to obtain the required resourcing to complete projects
-Documenting and monitoring risks identified by the team
-Identifying and tracking deficiencies
-Preparing operational transition documents
-Consolidating team members cost estimates, monitoring and reporting project costs
Candidates must be a member of PMI and currently hold their PMP designation in order to be considered for the Project Manager position. Preference will be given to candidates that have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and a background in the Oil and Gas Industry supporting Industrial Projects would also be considered as a asset to this position.
Candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Have the ability to work independently but can collaborate well in a team environment. Previous experience using MS Project, MS Project Server and SharePoint would be beneficial. This is a one (1) year contract position with the possibility of four (4) additional one (1) year extensions to December 31, 2020.
