Adecco is currently recruiting a a Project Controller to work in Regina, SK at our client's Head Office. The Project Controller will assist Project Leaders and project teams with the implementation of project management standards.
The primary job duties for this position will include but are not limited to:
- Development and maintenance of project schedules using MS Project Server 2013
- Assist with preparation of project management plans
- Maintain risk register
- Prepare reports
- Preparation of meeting agendas and minutes
- Record and follow up on Project deficiencies
- Cost tracking support based on team member estimates of costs
- Close projects
- Provide project management guidance and templates to project leaders
- Maintain and update templates/processes
Qualifications
- Recent experience in leading project schedule development and management using MS Project server or alternatively Primivera.
- Must have a CAPM designation from the Project Management Institute. (Alternatively PMP designation or Engineering degree would be considered an asset)
- Strong organization and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Candidate(s) must have experience with project management support for physical construction projects and not just IT
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry and particular experience with physical capital projects will be considered beneficial.
- Understanding of project management best practices according to the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Previous Project Management experience
