Description

This full- time position with Judy Johnston Insurance is an opportunity to build or grow your insurance career.

Responsibilities:
- Work with prospective and current customers to determine their unique personal insurance needs
- Build strong working relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and managers
- Participate in marketing activities,& cross-selling
- Provide service options, information and insurance coverage tailored to meet the needs and expectations of customers.  
- Respond to walk-in, web and telephone inquiries
- Follow-up, process and administer changes to insurance policies.  Maintain up-to-date records and process documents in a timely, accurate manner using automated and manual systems
- Checking policies, endorsement and other documents for accuracy
- Provide support and assist clients with insurance claims
- Monitor the office and team workload, offering support as needed. Work co-operatively with all manager and employee teams
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:
- CAIB level 1-3; CIP or FCIB designation will also be considered
- 1-2 years minimum related experience
- Ability to learn new software programs
- Insurance Product Experience:  Auto, Home, Medical, Travel, Tenant, Farm
- Desire to build a book of business by building relationships with customers
- Exceptional customer service, communication, computer and telephone skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy at all times
- Problem solving skills, initiative, energy, self-motivated and a willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- An attitude of respect, integrity and professionalism.
- The ability to manage multiple processes with strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to personal growth and development
