If you want a career that helps build better families and fosters healthier homes, we are currently looking for a three Family Treatment Workers to work in our expanding Family Treatment Programs.  
The Family Treatment Worker [FTW] provides day to day family care functions, including family transportation to treatment appointments, some childcare responsibilities, assistance with household management and basic parenting duties. FTW responsibilities ensure the provision of a safe, nurturing, and structured living environment for all of the families.  The position is centered on ongoing problem-solving and professional judgment.  It consists of assessing safety at all times, providing in-home, hands on support to families and making decisions so that family strengths are maximized.  

Qualifications and skills
- Education related to social work or any other human related courses, plus a minimum of one years experience working with children and families.
- Demonstrated ability to working both independently and as an inter-disciplinary team member.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with agency staff, consultants, referral sources, service providers, education personnel, and families in treatment.
- Familiarity with the needs of children and child development principles.
- Experience in assisting parents to develop the expertise needed to operate their home.
- Strong commitment to assisting families in challenging situations. Non-discriminating approach to duties.  
- Compassionate, persevering, and a good listener.
- Knowledge of pertinent legislation, such as, The Child and Family Services Act, The Education Act, and the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
- Must hold a class 5 novice 2 or higher valid Saskatchewan drivers license and a clear driving record, ability to travel, and use of a personal vehicle.
