The repatriation worker will be responsible for finding family members that are interested in caring for children, which include extended families of specific children in care. The Repatriation worker will prioritize reunification where possible in the best interests of children. The Repatriation Worker will provide counselling services and ongoing training of interested families willing to care for a child in care.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Social Worker or Bachelors Degree In Indian Social Work
Awareness of First Nation Beliefs, values and cultural practices
Able to maintain high level of confidentiality
Pass a vulnerable sector check and CPIC
Valid drivers license
Able to work with all communities involved in Agency (Muscowpetung, Standing Buffalo, Wood Mountain, Wahpeton, and Beardys & Okemasis)
A high level of travel may be involved
