Service Attendant / Coach Cleaner
Part-time, Permanent, In-scope
Saskatoon, SK
Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance, this position is responsible for inspecting coaches and other vehicles for service requirements and performing minor, semi-skilled repairs, as well as the day-to-day cleaning of both company and foreign coaches.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect coaches and express delivery vehicles inside and out for service requirements (i.e. fluid levels, fuel, lights, etc.)
- Perform routine, semi-skilled repairs when necessary
- Ensure proper and safe operation of STC vehicles on company property and inter-highways
- Clean the interior of coaches and other vehicles prior to their release for service
- Conduct extensive deep cleaning, including shampooing and waxing
- Ensure the garage is clean and orderly at all times
Qualifications:
- A valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver's license with air endorsement
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with materials, methods, and tools used in the servicing of coaches and other vehicles
- General knowledge and skill in the use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to accurately read and follow written instructions related to job routines
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work within defined time constraints
- Ability to work shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
