The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation invites applications for the position of Administrative Assistant. Reporting to the Information Services Coordinator, this position is responsible for the office and clerical support for the research and records management functions of the Information Services work unit. The administrative assistant has support responsibilities for an activity or activities which may change from time to time depending on the overall needs and requirements of the work unit and the Federation. Activities may include: data entry and management; online member services support and communications; word processing and proofreading correspondence and reports; maintaining electronic and hard copy filing systems; and providing meeting logistic and administrative support.
The successful applicant will have completed a one-year business course and have 1-2 years of general office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated organizational and computer literacy skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel, are required.
