Southeast College is currently recruiting to a full-time permanent faculty position within their health programming division.
Working from the new and state-of-the art Weyburn Campus the ideal candidate will bring these qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a related field is required; Masters Degree preferred
- Must be eligible with the Saskatchewan Registered Nurses Association
- Minimum of two years recent clinical/teaching experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of the science of nursing and adult education
- Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills
- Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources
- Overnight travel is required
Duties:
- Manage and execute program administration
- Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, simulation lab and clinical settings
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
- Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum
- Monitor and evaluate curriculum implementation at the Program site
- Participate in program, campus, SIAST, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities

Start Date:
To Be Determined but prior to September 15, 2016 would be preferable.
Salary Range:
As per the negotiated SGEU Instructor grid, commensurate with education and experience
