Applicants must:
be 18 years old and a Canadian citizen.
Demonstrate the following core competencies:
1. Basic literacy skills
2. Basic interpersonal skills, including the ability to exercise impartiality
3. Ability to serve voters that require assistance
4. Ability to perform repetitive tasks
5. Basic arithmetical skills
6. Basic analytical skills
7. Good attention to detail
8. Ability to adhere to directions and standards
9. Ability to learn in a short timeframe
Be prepared to work from the setting up, opening, closing, and cleanup of polls on Election Day, without leaving the facility for any reason, which is approximately from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. (with the exception of Advance Poll workers)
Attend all required training provided.
