PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: HEAD OFFICE, REGINA, SK
JAY'S TRANSPORTATION GROUP LTD. is a subsidiary of The Mullen Group and is one of the largest household moving, storage and freight transportation companies in Saskatchewan. We provide direct freight service to over 550 locations in the province, and as an agent for Atlas Van Lines, we offer local and long distance moving services.
Responsibilities:
Process semi-monthly payroll for 500 employees accurately and within deadlines using ADP (Pay@Work)
Process year-end payroll and benefits statistics and procedures
Record and calculate vacation and sick time for all employees (hourly & salary)
Work with Immigration Canada when necessary
Work with our Risk Management, and Equity Committees and subsequent reporting
Back-up HR Administrator
Qualifications:
2 5 years payroll experience is preferred
ADP (Pay@Work) experience is considered an asset
Truck Mate experience is considered an asset
Attention to detail is a must
Must have high quality interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Ability to adapt to changing and redefining situations, needs and job scope
Excellent computer skills Word, Excel, etc.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Be able to multi-task and be willing to learn
