DESCRIPTION:
Reporting to the Ile-a-la Crosse Fish Company Inc. Board of Directors, this senior executive position is responsible for managing all aspects of operations for the fish processing/packing facility and fish buying agency. This will include managing the transition from implementing provincial certification within the existing processing/packing facility through construction and operation of a new federally certified plant.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least five years of management experience.
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification and experience in the processing of
food products preferred.
- Willingness to work in a fish processing plant with inherent hazards, often in inclement weather
conditions.
- Available to work long hours, seven days a week, during the production season.
- Consistent and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Must be willing to travel and have a valid driver?s license.
Term: Full Time with benefits
