Description

The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan (ASOS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed to improving the lives of people affected by Alzheimers disease and related dementias.

The Fund Development Assistant will operate as an integral part of the Fund Development Team. This position will support our current efforts and play a significant role in facilitating new strategies and revenue development efforts to support our work in confronting one of Saskatchewans most compelling and serious health care issues. You will play a supporting role in maintaining grant revenue efforts and provide event assistance. You understand and thrive on the importance of donor relationships, data, and communication. We encourage applicants who are looking to work as a part of a team, are inspired by new challenges, and want to contribute to moving Saskatchewans leading Alzheimers charity forward.

The ideal candidate should have the following skills and requirements:
        Organizational skills
    Excellent writing and editing skills
    Written and Oral Communication skills
    Ability to build and maintain relationships with others
    Ability to work as a team
    Strong decision making skills including problem-solving
    Adaptable to new challenges
    Event planning experience considered an asset
    Writing experience necessary
    Preferable at least 1-2 years with relevant experience
    Non-profit experience considered an asset
    Previous database experience considered an asset

    Subject to a criminal record check
