The Northern Village of Beauval requires an Administrator who will provide assistance and leadership aimed at helping achieve its organizational objectives. This individual ensures that the Municipal Office and Northern Village are in compliance with all applicable federal and provincial legislation. The Administrator works as a strategic partner to Mayor and Council. This individual must develop a comprehensive strategic organizational development program for NVB.
The Administrator shall be responsible for:
- the day to day finances of the Northern Village of Beauval
- ensure compliance with federal and provincial municipal operation grants and non-government grants,
- tracking and presenting budgets of all municipal departments,
- additional duties relating to accounts receivable,
- coordinating and communicating office activities to municipal staff,
- reception duties when required,
- contract management,
- coordinating, tracking and purchasing office and municipal equipment,
- health & safety regulations, and
- general troubleshooting.
- other duties as listed in the Northern Village of Beauval Human Resource Handbook and as required by the Northern Village of Beauval Mayor and Council.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Valid Class 5 driver's license
- Previous experience in administration and financial management
- A certificate or diploma in Local Governance Administration (LGA) is considered an asset.
