Sales Agronomist
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Crop Inputs Team as a Sales Agronomist at our location in Swift Current, SK.
As a Crop Inputs Sales Agronomist you will serve as part of the sales and business team Paterson Grain.  Reporting to the Crop Inputs Location Manager, you will be primarily responsible for ensuring our customers receive high quality customized service within an enterprising team environment; with a view to maintaining and expanding Paterson Grains business in the region.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a high standard of agronomic knowledge and personal customer service;
Provide expert agronomic knowledge, skills and advice to customers, other members of our Crop Inputs team and broader Paterson Grain team;
Achieve annual sales, service and business targets and identify new sales opportunities.
Develop and execute monthly action plans;
Develop seasonal customer service / sales / crop plans;
Develop nutrition plans from crop plans / soil tests / tissue tests;
Pre-season, in-season and post season field scouting;
Promote innovation and new products through annual demonstration plots;
Assist in other support functions as assigned by the Crop Inputs Retail Manager.
Qualifications:
Maintain professional designation (i.e. P.Ag or CCA);
A degree or diploma in Agriculture
