Permanent FT babysitter/Caregiver required to look after 2 children (4 (will be 5 at the end of August AND 3 Year old). Caregiver will assume responsibility and will be required to look after the well being of the children in the absences of parents. Prepare age appropriate meals and snacks. Organize fun and learning activities and tend to the emotional well being.
Any hours in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate.
Optional Accommodation available at no charge on a live in basis. Please note that this is not a condition of employment
Children'S Ages
- Toddler to pre-school (1 - 3 years)
- Kindergarten age (4 - 5 years)
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- First Aid Certificate
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
Specific Skills
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Supervise and care for children
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
- Read to children
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
