Culligan Saskatoon has a full time opening in their Route Sales Delivery department.
The position entails delivering Culligan Water, salt, coolers, promotional items,etc to current customers and to build deliveries and sales in the drivers specific territory.
Responsibilities:
*deliver to current customers following their delivery instructions, policies and procedures as outlined in each customers delivery instructions.
*follow established safety procedures
*to establish a new customer base for water deliveries, cooler rentals or cooler sales
*bill customers accordingly for deliveries , cooler service, etc
*do cooler sanitizations at customers locations as schedules require
*minor cooler repairs onsite for rental coolers or rental cooler exchanges as needed
*daily truck inspections and reporting of any repairs needed to the Delivery Manager
*daily truck inventory of all items
*work daily with office staff to ensure all billing questions are answered if needed and that all customer or driver needs are being met
*ensure all paperwork being done by the driver are handed in daily being complete and legible for entry into our data system
*daily re-sequencing or rerouting of route/territory to ensure maximum efficiency of the route
Driver must supply their own steel toed boots/shoes.
Physical Requirements must be able to continually lift 50lbs during the day to deliver water bottles and salt.
Knowledge and Experience:
*Class 5 drivers licence and clean drivers abstract required
*Must submit a criminal record check
*Good knowledge of the City of Saskatoon streets is an asset and must be able to read a map
*must be dependable, have good organizational skills and be customer service orientated
*must have the ability to work independently
*show attention to detail / paperwork
*must be able to read & write English
*no experience necessary as willing to train the right individual
