Description

Key Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the CPIC Supervisor, processes a variety of traffic documents.  
(1)    Conducts online verification of ASE violations occurring at Regina locations; including the master filing and entering of Summary Offence Tickets, ensuring accuracy requirements and court deadlines are met.
(2)    Matches registered owner information to license plates on out of province violations and mails out of province notices.  
(3)    Corrects, processes and enters general motor vehicle accident reports on IEIS.
(4)    Enters and tracks Inspection Tickets in accordance with established procedures.
(5)    Answers inquiries for information by telephone from uniform members, SGI, etc.
(6)    Other related duties as assigned from time to time.

Competencies:
(1)    Knowledge of Traffic Safety Act, Municipal Traffic Bylaws, Alcohol and Gaming Regulations Act and Criminal Code Sections relating to traffic violations are an asset.
(2)    Ability to learn the IEIS system to the extent to search, enter, link and task on the system.
(3)    Minimum typing speed 50 wpm with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
(4)    Reception:  The ability to deal with incoming calls and persons in a friendly, efficient and professional manner.
(5)    Filing:  The ability to retain and retrieve documents in an easy, efficient manner.
(6)    Organization:  The ability to coordinate work schedules and time for maximum efficiency and productivity.
(7)    Minimum of Grade 12 or Grade 12 equivalent.
